葬儀司会を終えて　（井手　一男）

246（ニー・ヨン・ロク）と言えば、お洒落な青山通り・・・
と思われるでしょうが、ところがどっこいしょ。
246は、千代田区から神奈川県を経由して静岡県沼津市に至る一般国道で、
流通のための道路と言うよりは、主に通勤利用が多い生活密着型の道路。
渋谷の青山通りはそのごく一部ということだったのだ。
（知らなかったよ）

「246沿いの葬祭ホールだから、行って下さい」
別の現場を抱えていた石川から電話で、どうしても断りたくないというのだ。
「ダブルブッキング? モテモテだねえ」
石川は泣きべそをかいている。
「スケジュール空いてますよね」
「・・・まあ、何とか」
ここは石川に貸しを作っておける。
（恩を売っとくか・・・ムフフと悪魔の声）

石川から246と言われたら、青山通りしか浮かばなかったぜ。
246沿いなら大丈夫と判断した私が甘かった。
（相手が1枚上手だったのさ）
現場を聞いてビックリ新春スペシャル。
246は246でも、神奈川県の外れじゃないかー!（失礼）
通夜・葬儀と2日間通うのはとても無理。
仕方なく、ビジネスホテルを予約した。（参ったね）





ホールの大窓からは、眼前に拡がる丹沢連峰。
FUNETのナレーションにもあるけれど「粉砂糖を散らしたような山の頂」
（イメージだけで書いてるからさ、やっぱり本当にあったよと軽く驚く。）
登山の名所の一つ「大山」である。（まるで旅行にきた気分）
確かに246沿いに建つ立派な葬祭ホールではあった。

6時からの通夜だから、4時に現場入り。
担当者と名刺交換後、まずは通夜の流れ確認程度の簡単な打ち合わせ。
当初は女性司会者ということだったので、
担当者がイメージするセレモニーの雰囲気を把握したかった。
気持ちさえ持っていけば、後はご遺族任せである。
とりあえず声を立ち上げ、発声練習をボソボソと・・・。

司会で始めて伺う際に、私はよく弔問客と間違えられる。
司会者らしくないし、貫禄がないのだ。
現場に入ると、「一般の方はまだロビーでお待ちください」などと声を掛けられ、
つまみ出されそうになったことが何度もある。
（ベテランの方は顔見知りだけど、新人さんは知らないからね）
面白いので、そのままロビーで待って、後で驚かすこともあった。
恐らく緊張感のようなオーラが出てないのだろう。
マイクを握って声を発して、やっと皆がピリッとする。
その落差が堪らない。（性格悪し）





祭壇は、やはり花祭壇、ただし輿だけを使った和洋折衷型。
しかも全て洋花でアレンジを施してある。
よく観ると、シンメトリーのようで、実は一部だけ崩してある。
デザインに関することは、申し上げにくい。
ここに至るまでのプロセスを知らないから。
ご遺族が納得していれば問題はないだろう。
そして供花や供物が式場の周りをぐるりと囲んでいる。
その一部にメモリアルコーナーを設置。
柔らかい感じのトーンで、メリハリをつける司会のイメージが浮かぶ。
司会者は、与えられた環境とぶつかっても何にもならないのだ。
悪い言い方をすれば、その環境を利用する・・・環境に乗っかる・・・
そんな感じでいいと思っている。

式場はL字型の空間で、導線の確保に難があるが欠点ばかりとも限らない。
マイナス要素は、発想次第でプラス要素に転じるもの。
担当者が意識してやったかどうかは不明だが、
メモリアルコーナーが同じ空間（式場内）に存在するというのは、
それなりの効果があるようだ。
参列の方の視界に、常に故人の存在が印象付けられ、厳粛な雰囲気が崩れない。
（FUNETのパネル使いたかったなあ）





個人葬ではあったが、地元商店街の発展に尽力された故人。
両日とも大勢の弔問客でごった返した。
ご遺族からも伺ってはいたが、生前の故人が偲ばれる。
そして宗派は浄土宗。
導師が使っていたお経本は私と同じものであったが、
仏説阿弥陀経を半巻の方が多い中で、しっかり一巻あげられていた。
（浄土宗は半巻の人が多い・・・因みに天台宗は中抜きであげられる）
※半巻とは阿弥陀経の途中までで切り上げる・・・と言っていいのかな。
鎖龕（さがん）・・・「華は開く稀有の色・・・」
起龕（きがん）・・・「鳥は華やかにして珠の光を転じ・・・」
引導 ～ 十念の流れも丁寧。（いいお坊さんだ）
奠湯（てんとう）・奠茶（てんさ）は割愛したけどね。
※ 浄土宗では、奠茶を「てんさ」と読みますよ。
（「てんちゃ」ではありません）

話が脱線します。
「茶色」っていう日本語ですけど、どんな色ですか?
お茶の色ではありませんよね。
これには訳があって、茶染めの色のことなんですよ。
だから茶色は、緑色じやなくてよいのです。
（最近知ったので言いたくて仕方ない）

話を戻します。（ふー、脱線が短くてグッド）
浄土宗の引導法語（香語）の中で必ず出てくるのが、
弥陀の四十八の誓願の中心、王本願というやつです。
憶えておくと便利ですから、ちょっと書きましょう。

設我得仏 （せつが・とくぶつ）
十方衆生 （じっぽう・しゅじょう）
至心信楽 （ししん・しんぎょう）
欲生我国 （よくしょう・がこく）
乃至十念 （ないし・じゅうねん）
若不生者 （にゃくふ・しょうじゃ）
不取正覚 （ふしゅ・しょうがく）

簡単に（自分流に）解釈すれば・・・
誰でもいいからあらゆる世界の人が、発願を決心し（起こし）、
心の底から念仏を唱え、ぜひ阿弥陀仏の国に生まれたいなあと望み（望んだのに）、
もしその方たちを、阿弥陀の浄土に生まれさせることが出来なければ、
私は（阿弥陀仏と名乗る）仏になんかなりません。
と、阿弥陀仏になる前の法蔵菩薩が願掛けをしたわけですね。

この願が成就したかどうかが問題なのです。
成就してなければ、極楽浄土は存在しません。
成就していれば、法蔵菩薩が阿弥陀仏とランクアップして衆生を救うわけです。
（菩薩 ⇒ 仏）
そこでポイントとなるのが、仏説阿弥陀経。
これは単に極楽の様子を説いただけの（つまらない）お経ですけど、
その存在自体がとても大きくて、要するに極楽の様子が描かれるということは、
法蔵菩薩の願いがかなって阿弥陀となり、極楽という浄土が存在する。
願が成就した証拠がここにある・・・というわけなのです。
（分かりやすく書いたつもりだけれど）

少しだけ脱線すると、相撲の四十八手もここからね。
ちょっとHなやつも・・・（バカたれ、誰だ喜んでるのは）
そして十八番（おはこ）も、ここに語源があると思っていますけど・・・。
野球のエースナンバー（背番号）１８はどうなのかな。
こんなことばかり書いてるくらいだから、
私の司会セミナーがどんな雰囲気か予想がつきますねえ。
（加藤と正反対・・・明るく楽しく、ちっぴり厳しく学ぶのです）

戻ります。
これは必ず引導文の中で出てくるはずですから。
それから浄土宗でのお勤めは、ブロック毎に十念が出てきますでしょ。
葬儀の差上を例に取るなら、懺悔偈（さんげげ）の後、引導の後・・・とね。
このあたりが、司会進行のポイントになるでしょう。

両日ともナレーションのCDはもちろん弊社のオリジナル。
というより、BGMも含めて全て加藤と関谷さんのでまかなった。
通夜が3分、葬儀が6分ほどだったろうか。
皆さん水を打ったように静まり返ってくれたが、これも故人のお人柄だろう。
生来の明るさの中に、誠実な心を持った律儀なお人柄。
それが故人の人生を徳のあるものにしていた。
こちらが感謝しなくてはならない。

技術的には、イメージの出し方とテンポと呼吸の引き方（落とし方）、
たったこれだけのことで皆をひきつけることが容易ですね。
出棺時に関谷さんの「未来への扉」を流したけど、私のイメージではピッタリ。
愛する子供たちや、お孫さんたちに、命のバトンを託したという感じ。
一番気に入っている楽曲だ。
人は皆、運命の振り子の幅の中で、涙や笑いに溢れた人生を歩みますからね。


　


ところでこの地域の風習。
「蒸し物料」（むしものりょう）として目録が張ってある。
何のことかと思ったら、昔は親戚筋が蒸し物を持ち寄ったらしい。
それが今では金銭に代わったとのこと。
東京ではお目にかかったことがありませんでした。
それから祭壇に供える甘いものと言えば、（甘いものは、昔は贅沢品）
「菊華糖」や「落雁」に代表されるだろうが、
「月餅」がお供えしてありました。（ちょい珍しい程度かな）
七本塔婆は都心以外では当然だし、
六道と呼ばれる六本の蝋燭立ても良くありますね。
ただ、当日埋葬と聞いて少し残念な気持ちになりました。
お寺の都合や、地域の風習に流れたくはないですなあ。
遺族が望めば、当日埋葬にこだわらなくても・・・と思いますよ。


　


報告したいことは山ほどあるのですが、あまり長くなってもね。
この日私はとんぼ返りで、事務所でパネルデザインのチェック。
デザイナーのS氏のおかげで順調に進行している。
だけど・・・移動だけで疲れるわ。（ふー）
石川、この借りは返すぞ!

で、昨日約束した別バージョンの３枚セットを。
因みに昨日の背景写真は2枚とも私の作品・・・げっ価値が落ちるかな。
今日のは藤田と、お世話になってる某葬儀社社長鈴木氏の写真からです。
特に鈴木氏の写真はプロレベル・・・桜の写真が気に入ってます。
エッセイでは、画質が落ちるのは許してください。
テストバージョンですが、会員の方には直ぐに使えるようにしますので。
（早ければ今日中に間に合うかも）

システムとしては超簡単。
まず原稿をどれにするか選択するだけ。（文章選択）
次にパネルをどれにするか選択するだけ（背景画像選択）。
（ボタンを押して、靴下を洗濯する時間もありません・・・ごめん、レベル低っ）
この瞬間に出来上がってあります。（A３またはA２出力）
決断力がある人は1分、ない人でも3分程度でしょうね。

メモリアルコーナーに飾ったところを想像してワクワクしましょう。
（うちでもやってみるか・・・などと考えましょう）
