先日、大手広告代理店の友人が脳波を調べて、
インターネット・マーケティングの分野に活かしているのを知り驚きました。
脳波を測って興奮状態などを調べるということは、以前から行われてきたことです。
「ゲーム脳」など、一時期マスコミで持てはやされました。
友人はインターネット活用時における脳の「集中力」度と「リラックス」度を調べ、
任意のウェブサイトが人の脳に与える刺激を調査していました。
マーケティングの分野は、もう脳にまで関心を示しているのですね。
ちなみに、関心の高い内容ほど「集中力」度が増すようです。
イチロー選手がバッターボックスに立った時などは、
「集中力」度と「リラックス」度が両方増す興奮状態になるそうです。
個人的には、「脳で考えたことを文字に起こしてくれるソフト」が開発されないか、
密かに期待しています。
電車内で仕事したい時や、両手がふさがっている時、
このソフトがあれば便利じゃないですか？
同様に、脳で想像した「絵」をデータ化するソフトも欲しいですね。
絵心が無い人は、やっぱり脳で想像した絵も下手なのでしょうか・・・。
私が生きている内にできそうな気もしますが・・・。
脳科学の最先端の方、是非とも頑張ってください！
葬儀でも、脳科学の分野は活かせるかもしれません。
「グリーフワーク」も、脳の活動を科学しているとも言えるでしょう。
「癒し」という分野も、肉体だけでなく、
精神的な脳のリラックスも含まれるのではないでしょうか。
葬儀における脳科学の活用は、まだ伸び代がありそうです。
ただ、科学で全てが解決できるわけではありません（当然ですが）。
葬儀には宗教の占める部分も大きいですし、そのバランスは重要です。
また、科学分野の中でも法則や文献主義だけをとるのではなく、
柳田國男のようなフィールドワーク的な研究、
その調査方法も重用されるべきでしょう。
例えば、現場で記録をとり、それを考察する（ふり返る）ことです。
葬儀では特に、現場で生まれる知の蓄積を如何に活用していくか、
また、葬儀記録を如何に現場に還していくかが重要でしょう。
葬儀の現場で起きる事象、トラブル、喪主や親族との営みや関係性を記録に残し、
その地域、葬儀社なりに知恵に変えて現場で活用するということ。
来月（3月16日）開催予定の弊社司会研修でも、
講師（社長）がよく施行記録の大切さにふれますが、私も強くそう思います。
