浄土真宗本願寺派中央仏教学院「通信教育」課程で３年間学んだ私は、同窓会の「衆会」という合唱団に所属しています。卒業する前から参加していますので在籍はすでに３年目になります。
今年は、１２１４年（建保２年）親鸞聖人が関東で伝道をはじめられて８００年の年です。その慶讃法要の記念行事として去る６月２８日、築地本願寺音御堂という演奏会が開催されました。
音楽礼拝（敬礼文、三帰依、正信念仏偈、念仏、回向）の後に、仏教讃歌の、「やさしさにであったら」「聖夜」「あなたと出逢って」等、８曲を全国から参集したお寺関係のコーラスグループ５００人以上の大合唱で歌い上げました。
私は、歌いながらも鳥肌が立つほど感動しました。
本当に素晴らしかったです。
法要記念として、俳優の武田鉄矢さん作詞、ギタリストの千葉和臣さん作曲の仏教讃歌「あたりまえの唄 ―いのちのかがやき―」の発表がありました。
あたりまえの日常のありがたさを綴ったこの歌が演奏会に花を添えました。
